Demolition: Preparing for a Fresh Start

The project began with the removal of all existing plumbing fixtures, clearing the way for a brand-new installation. This demolition phase required careful planning to avoid disrupting the structural integrity of the space while ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.

Installing a Reliable Water Pipe System

The water system installation at La La Land Cafe was centered on using durable materials like Cold and Hot PEX piping paired with 1” fiberglass pipe insulation. For floor sinks and drains, we installed trap primers and Soft Copper Type K piping with ½” fiberglass insulation to maintain efficiency and prevent condensation.

To enhance water quality, water filtration equipment was seamlessly integrated into the system. Additionally, our team connected and trimmed all kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Pipe hangers and supports were installed in accordance with standard codes to provide a stable and reliable infrastructure.

Efficient Sewer and Vent Systems

The sewer and vent system was another critical component of this project. Using PVC Schedule 40 pipes for the main sewer and vent systems and Copper Type M pipes for indirect kitchen waste, we ensured efficient drainage and compliance with all local codes.

Interior trench excavation and backfilling were carried out to accommodate the new piping system, including indirect waste piping for kitchen equipment. As with the water system, pipe hangers and supports were installed to guarantee long-term stability and performance.
